Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate essential website functions, remember preferences, maintain shopping carts, support checkout, secure accounts, measure website performance, and understand how visitors use the website.
Cookies may include:
- Essential cookies: required for security, account login, shopping-cart, checkout, and core website functions
- Preference cookies: used to remember choices such as location, currency, or display preferences
- Analytics cookies: used to understand website traffic, page performance, and visitor interactions
- Marketing cookies: used to measure promotions or show relevant advertising where these tools are enabled and consent is required
You can manage non-essential cookies through any cookie controls displayed on our website or through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website features, saved preferences, cart functions, or checkout.
Website Analytics and Advertising
We may use website analytics and advertising services, such as services provided by Google or Meta, to understand traffic, measure website performance, evaluate promotions, and improve customer experience.
These services may collect or receive technical information through cookies, pixels, tags, or similar technologies. Depending on your settings and the service involved, this may include your IP address, device information, browser information, approximate location, referring source, and website interactions.
Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies will be managed through the consent options available on the website where consent is required.
Email Marketing
If you subscribe to marketing, we may send you product updates, skincare content, offers, restock notices, and other promotional communications.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contacting support@thekbeautyshop.net.
Unsubscribing from marketing will not stop essential service communications concerning an order, payment, delivery, account security, return, or customer-service request.
Skin Profiles, Quizzes, and Product Recommendations
If you choose to use a skin quiz, routine builder, product-matching service, or skin-profile feature, we may process the information you voluntarily provide to generate recommendations and improve the service you requested.
This information may include skin type, skin concerns, sensitivities, allergies, ingredient preferences, current products, lifestyle information, and product goals.
Product matches and routine suggestions are general beauty and skincare guidance. They are not medical diagnoses or medical advice and should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Photo and AI Skin-Analysis Features
If we introduce a feature that analyses an uploaded skin photograph, we will provide additional information at the point of collection explaining what will be collected, the analysis purpose, how the image and results will be handled, whether a third-party technology provider is involved, and the choices available to you.
Use of any photo-analysis feature will be optional. We will not require you to provide a facial or skin image to make a standard product purchase.
An uploaded image will be used only for the purposes explained when the feature is offered. We will not use it to identify or authenticate you, advertise to you, or train a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model unless we first provide clear additional information and obtain any authorisation required by law.
Where the Biometric Processing Privacy Code 2025 applies, we will follow its requirements concerning necessity, proportionality, transparency, security, access, retention, and disposal.

How Long We Keep Personal Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for another lawful purpose.
Retention periods depend on the type of information and may be affected by accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, warranty, dispute, security, and other legal requirements.
When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, anonymise it, or securely dispose of it.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators and are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external website before providing personal information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, providers, or legal obligations change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information already collected, we will provide additional notice or request authorisation where required by law.
